My name is Joy Haney. My husband, Steve, and I and our four children, Tristan 10, Haley 8, Trey 7, and Emily 1 have lived in Allegheny Woodlands for 2-1/2 years now. We were transferred from Southern West Virginia to Mid-Northeastern Pennsylvania. We never thought that we would ever find friends and neighbors like we had in West Virginia. To our surprise, we have been blessed yet again in Allegheny Woodlands. We have wonderful neighbors and friends all around us. We are very pleased with our home built by J. Michael Ruefle, Jr. of Suncrest Homes. The facilities offered at Allegheny Woodlands, including the playground, play field, community center, and most of all the heated swimming pool are our favorite places to" hang out at." We use them more, we think, than any other residents in the plan. Our children are very happy at Allegheny-Hyde Park Elementary School. Best of all, we are 25 minutes away from mall shopping and restaurant hopping! We would highly recommend Allegheny Woodlands to any area newcomers or current area homeowners looking for a change.

It is hard to believe that a year has almost passed since we moved in. It has been wonderful living in our new home. It really is beautiful and we are very happy with the results. Our new home is simply stunning! The quality and detailing are just lovely. Everywhere we look, a new element captures our appreciation. We especially love all the fine wood work. We feel so blessed to be living here.

And more than this wonderful home, the Suncrest staff have been such a delight to deal with.

I know you have DOZENS of new homes under construction at any given time, but whenever I'd call, I always felt like I was your only client (not a number). Your staff was always pleasant and available to us.

You kept us "on track" the whole time, so the "dreaded process" of being a new home builder was never experienced. Friends would ask, "Aren't you going crazy building a new home?" And I say, "NO...Suncrest is doing all the organizing...I just follow their directions." This was a completely hassle-free experience thanks to your diligence and organization.

Please allow us to share our new home with all of you who played a part in its completion. We'd love you to see the "Fruit of Your Labor."

Dear Mike,

As we finish up the process of building a house and start into the one of converting it to a home, we feel obligated to drop a quick note to tell you how pleased we are with the results of Suncrest Home's efforts. We have to confess that we entered into the building process with extreme trepidation, expecting to encounter an experience comparable to having a root canal or paying taxes. We are delighted that working with you and your people has been entirely different from our expectations. You, Colleen, Dave, Patricia, and Tom have been gracious, accommodating, and extraordinarily patient with us throughout the entire construction process. We are very grateful to all of you.

We are also obligated to mention the suppliers that you recommended to us. Adele Holmes at Crescent Supply, Kim Roudebush at Cardello Electric, Monica at Molyneaux Flooring, and Tom Backus at Manor House Kitchens were unfailingly helpful, courteous, and responsive. They steered us through a bewildering variety of options with a skill that made the somewhat intimidating process of selection much easier and more comfortable than we had anticipated.

We would certainly be remiss if we failed to recognize the many of your contractors with whom we have dealt throughout the building process. Harry Cerutti, Ross Palermo, Frank DiNinno, Sam DaDamo, Bill Kratzenberg, J. J. Joynt, and their crews were an absolute joy to work with, as were the folks from A. E. Nicholas. Their experience and expertise more than compensated for our lack of both. Their suggestions and flawless execution deserve much of the credit for the final appearance and comfort of our home.

We are very happy to have dealt with you and your folks, and with the final product you have created for us. We hope that the future brings you all the continued success that your past and present work have so richly earned you.
