Home construction is a family affair for J. Michael Ruefle, Jr. and Colleen Ruefle-Haley of Suncrest Homes, headquartered in Murrysville, PA. Michael is President and Colleen is Vice President of Suncrest Homes, one of the most prestigious new home construction companies in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh. This father-daughter team is involved in more than just Suncrest Home's day-to-day operations.
J. Michael Ruefle is a builder who truly understands the construction industry having started his career more than 40 years ago as an apprentice carpenter. With his hands-on building experience, a business education at Robert Morris University and daily involvement in the building industry, he has built an award-winning custom home building company.
Like her dad, Colleen Ruefle-Haley has spent nearly her entire career in the home-building industry and learned the business from the bottom up. Except for a brief stint in advertising from 1987 to 1989, she has worked with her dad since 1980.
Patricia Ruefle is an interior designer with more than 15 years experience and works on the Ruefle team to help clients develop design schemes and make color selections. The Suncrest team believes that their clients are best served when the client, builder and architect/designer work together to ensure a well designed, quality-built home. Working together, the Ruefles combine their talents, skill, expertise and efforts to make the building process fun and enjoyable.
